As President of our Contract Bridge Association, I am delighted to welcome you to a new season of bridge. More than just a game, bridge is a community where friendships are built, challenges are embraced, and the joy of learning never ends.

This past year brought growth in both membership and the quality of our events. From tournaments to workshops and social gatherings, our activities were successful thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, directors, and all who gave their time and energy. I am deeply grateful for your contributions.

Looking ahead, we have a full calendar of tournaments, lessons for all levels, and outreach to introduce new players to the game we love. I encourage each of you to take part—as competitors, learners, or supporters—so that together we continue building a vibrant, welcoming bridge community.

The Pittsburgh Bridge Association welcomes new players with Free Plays at clubs in Unit 142 and Unit 229.  The goal is to encourage students to begin playing at club games. 

• Teachers are authorized to give students who are not regularly playing at club games up to 5 Free Play tickets
• Student must be an ACBL member
• Student must have less than 10 masterpoints
• Student must provide their email address and consent to receiving bridge related emails from the Pittsburgh Bridge Association
• Free play tickets must be used within 90 days
• Students may use a maximum of 5 Free Play Tickets

The Unit reimburses clubs for entry fees.  Teachers and clubs receive a bonus if the student uses all 5 free plays within 90 days.  Click here to visit the Free Play page.
