Asim Ulke. I bid 4C. This is not a choice of better minor. When Choices are equal partner expects to hear the lower ranking suit. The loser count is the same in either minor.

Florine Walters 4 clubs. Would like to bid 4 NT to have partner select the minor, but do not want to punish partner, if it was bid on mostly distributional values, and am not strong enough to insist on a game.

PJ Prabhu: 3 NT. Takeout for the minors. Partner could have unequal minor suit lengths. Couldn't decide between pass and 3 NT Most likely, there are 17 total trumps. However 18 is possible and hence I decided to bid on, as an insurance against -530.

Herb Sachs: I pass and lead a trump. I have hearts and he has the minors. I can’t guess which he has. Maybe we can get this for a few.

Jim Klein: I bid 4Clubs. Partner thinks there is a game or slam. With equal length in the minors let partner tell me what to do.

Bruce Keidan: 4C Tough problem. I'd like to bid 3NT and let partner pick a strain (and declare), but a) I have a feeling I'd end up playing that contract and going minus, and b) even if partner bids 4 of a minor, I won't know how good his hand is. So I'll try for the most ;ikely plus score or smallest minus. I choose clubs because it's the most flexible bid, and the least likely to be doubled when both minors bread badly

Arlene Port: I pass. I don’t know which minor partner has and I think we can get more this way than making four of a minor.

Roni Gitchel: 4D If we end up defending, it gives partner better information.

Judy Haffner: I pass and lead a trump. I don’t think we have a game because partner didn’t Q bid. I think we can get more by doubling than bidding.

Richard Katz: Pass. Partner does not have a heart raise. I have nothing to bid. There is no guarantee that we can make game so I am defending. I think we have a lot of defense.
