You are South, matchpoints, no one vulnerable.

Here is your hand:

S - K Q J 6 4
H - A J 8
D - 6
C - A 6 5 3

The Bidding is:
West North East South
    Pass 1S
Pass 1 NT  2D ???

What is your bid???

Gail Carns: 2H This is a tough problem and I think 2H is the least lie .:

Jim Klein: I Double! Partner will know best what is the most profitable spot.

Bruce Keidan: Double.  In my methods, it's takeout, showing extras. secondary support for both unbid suits and a willingness to defend if partner has the right hand to convert to penalties. The reasons I think it's right to play this double as takeout: 1) On frequency, you'll hold this hand a lot more often than you'll hold a stack in RHO's overcall suit. 2) It's an awkward hand to describe if double now is for penalties and C) When I DO have the trump stack, I can pass and hope partner will reopen with a double with a singleton or doubleton in the overcalled suit and values to compete.

Bill Holt: Double.  Partner rates to have diamonds and a penalty pass, or he has round cards and will pull to 2H or 3C.  I have a little extra and want to keep partner involved.

Roni Gitchel: 3C - It is an overbid but I have been known to do that on occasion.

Ken Bergman: Pass ... I'm going to wait and see what partner does.  If partner doubles, I'll be more than happy to pass

Barb Bergman: Pass ... I'm not strong enough to bid 3C and take a penalty double away from partner. The only other action I'd consider would be a double showing partner that we have the majority of the pts. If partner expects me to have diamond cards, that could backfire and we could miss a heart game. I'd pass and hope partner can take some action

Florine Walters: Double - extra values and takeout. Obviously if partner has diamonds can leave in the double

Ernie Retetagos: 2 Hearts, I'm too strong to pass.  On most hands that partner doesn't have 4 or more hearts, they will go back to spades.

Herb Sachs: Pass ... and hope that my partner will do the right thing whatever that is. I don’t have a bid for this hand as much as I would like to bid.

Asim Ulke: 3D ... I have the best hand I could hold. Partner must have some cards. (You do not save partner with a bad hand and no fit bid 3D. Double implies some diamond holding, and it is not my choice
