Bill Holt 2S. One last
chance to try to slow down partner, who apparently is 4144 or 4045. If
he has enough extras he'll keep going, but I can't force given the
misfit sounding auction
Ernie Retetagos:
3 NT, Assure partner that hearts are double stopped.
Gail Carns: 3C I hope partner bids
again but if not I don't see a game
Trudy Cohn: 3C I will bid three
clubs. Partner must have a big hand with at least five clubs. I have
already limited my hand with the one no trump bid so it's time to show a
modicum of support.
Florine Walters: 3 NT. Partner should
have a good hand with a void in Hearts, so I might as well convey the
message that I have a double stopper in Hearts, and a pretty good 1 NT
bid, and am not interested in any other game.
Asim Ulke: 3NT Presumably partner has
a good hand with 4-0-4-5 diatribution. I have enough to bid 3NT
Mary Paulone Carns : 3C. Partner
should be 4-0-4-5 without a game force (1S isn't forcing).
PJ Prabhu: 2NT. I'm torn between this
and 3C. I switched my choice since we are vulnerable at IMPs. Partner
appears to be 4=0=4=5. 3C is safer, but if we have game, it will be in
NT. Hence I'll show my double stoppers and invite 3NT.
Arlene Port: 3C. I believe that 2D is
forcing, at least to 3C. Partner does not seem too happy about NT, so ——
(and the best part of this is that I saw what was perceived as the best
answer)
Herb Sachs: Pass. I would have bid 2
clubs over 1 spade, so I am passing 2 diamonds. I have no bid.
Marvin Rulin: 2 NT I have no 5 card
major. |
